We are registered with the New York State Department of Agriculture as a pet dealer. Our License # is 00032. We were one of the first to be licensed in the state. We purchase puppies registered from breeders associated with many pet registries, including American Kennel Club (License #038482296) and American Canine Association.

Owners, Bruno and Helen Selmer wanted a Unique Pet Shop for All Ages. They brought their families love and concern for animals and caring attention to all the details of the little shop.



Selmer’s Pet Land specialized in Birds, Fish, Puppies, Reptiles and Small Mammals. Also available are thousands of products including pet food, clothing items, bedding and accessories.

Over the years, their family grew as did the store. Sons Bruno and Al joined in the daily operation of the business.

They were joined by Al’s wife Jackie, manager Bill Brown and Al's wonderful staff. Together, they continue to work on towards providing the finest in pets and supplies for your families needs.
